Featuring an exquisitely scrolled cartouche silhouette inspired by 18th-century French Rococo and Baroque designs, this statement piece features fluid acanthus leaf flourishes and an asymmetric crest and apron.

Manufactured in the mid-20th century from high-density wood-flour composite, the frame bears an incredibly authentic simulated wood grain on the reverse. The original factory finish was achieved with a copper-bronze metallic paint with an antiquing glaze. Over the decades, the finish has aged beautifully, developing a highly sought-after, deep alligator craquelure and a natural green verdigris patina pooling in the recessed curves.

Its versatile 30” x 19” footprint makes it an exceptional focal point above an entryway console table, a fireplace mantel, or styled as a glamorous vanity mirror in a powder room.
