Raised on four gracefully cabriole legs, the stool displays the characteristic movement and refinement associated with the Louis XV tradition. The carved wooden frame retains traces of its original painted and gilt finish, lending the piece an appealing aged patina acquired through decades of use.

The generously padded seat is upholstered in a woven floral fabric featuring warm beige, terracotta, and muted green tones. Decorative brass nailheads outline the seat, adding a refined detail that complements the sculptural silhouette of the frame.

Compact and versatile, this antique stool works beautifully as a footrest, dressing room seat, vanity stool, or decorative accent in both traditional and eclectic interiors. The combination of elegant curves, distressed finish, and floral upholstery creates a timeless French country-house aesthetic.

Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear. Visible stain and stitched repair to the upholstery. Minor wear and losses to the painted/gilt finish of the frame. See less
