The oval form is decorated at its center with hand-painted pears, plums and cherries rendered in vibrant hues, each piece brushed with precision and a lively touch that stands out against the bright white porcelain. A finely detailed, textured border frames the central decoration and adds a tactile element, while the gilded rim provides a subtle, luxurious finishing line around the edge. The quality of the painting and detailing reflects the heritage of one of Italy's most respected porcelain makers, and the composition has the feel of a small still life captured on porcelain. Use it to serve fruit, cheeses, pastries or antipasti at a dinner party or holiday gathering, or set it on a plate stand on a sideboard, bookcase or kitchen shelf where its colors can be enjoyed every day. It suits classic, Italianate, cottage and garden-inspired interiors alike, and layers beautifully with white dinnerware, linen and silver.

The platter measures 15.5 inches wide, 11 inches deep and 2 inches high. It is in excellent vintage condition, retaining its original intact glaze and vibrant hand-painted decoration. There are no visible chips, cracks or repairs, and the gilded rim is well preserved, with minimal signs of wear overall. Its generous oval shape provides ample serving space while remaining easy to handle and store. The piece is ready to use or display right away. A distinguished piece for collectors of fine Italian porcelain and anyone who loves a beautifully set table. See less
