Because of its monumental … Read more Offering a EXTRA LARGE vintage Chinese "Imperial" yellow crackled porcelain table lamp, circa Late 20th Century. Because of its monumental size, this magnificent lamp truly stands alone and as a single one-of-a-kind accent lamp. It has a beautiful rich yellow crackle porcelain and it depicts a raised relief flying dragon surrounded by clouds. The image is duplicated on the back side of the lamp.

It retains its original heavy duty solid brass socket with brass turnkey, indicating it was a high end manufacturer that produced the lamp, most likely Maitland-Smith. The black base is high gloss black lacquer composite resin.

There are eight loops, also called Lug Handles or Suspension Lugs, in traditional Chinese ceramics, these matte black raised loops were modeled into vessels like flask bottles or jars so a silk cord, leather strap, or rope could be threaded through them.

VINTAGE LAMP SHADE AND FINIAL INCLUDED.

1.- CONDITION OF LAMP SHADE: There are two defects on the back side of the shade, shown in the last photo.

2.- CONDITION OF LAMP: New clear electrical cord and New internal socket has been added for safety. No chips or cracks to the porcelain. Excellent condition.
