This vibrant vintage bowl is a beautiful example of traditional cloisonné enamel craftsmanship. The piece features a bright, golden-yellow enamel ground, intricately decorated with a lively aquatic scene. The design includes vibrant green lotus leaves, a pink and white lotus blossom, and a red and blue Mandarin duck, all rendered in rich, colorful enamels and outlined with fine gilt wire.
The background is further embellished with delicate, scrolling cloud motifs. The bowl is framed by a scalloped blue border at the top and bottom, and finished with a polished brass rim and base. The interior is finished in a smooth, dark brass tone. The base bears an engraved square seal mark containing characters. This colorful piece is perfect for use as a decorative catch-all, a small planter, or as a striking accent in a curated display.
