An elegant vintage Chinese Chinoiserie four-panel folding screen featuring beautifully detailed figural scenes against a rich, dark lacquered background. The decorative composition depicts graceful female figures in traditional attire surrounded by architectural elements, flowering gardens, ornamental trees, and lush botanical landscapes.
Intricate gold-toned geometric borders frame the individual panels, complementing the vibrant painted details and creating a sophisticated, gallery-like presentation.
The reverse features a contrasting black lacquered finish embellished with delicate gold-toned floral and botanical motifs, making this an attractive decorative piece from either side.
Brass-toned hinges connect the four panels, allowing the screen to be arranged in various configurations. The shaped lower edges and gold-toned foot accents complete its traditional design.
Perfect as a statement room divider, decorative backdrop, or freestanding work of art in a sophisticated living room, bedroom, or entryway. An attractive addition to Chinoiserie, Hollywood Regency, traditional, or eclectic interiors.
