A Neoclassical-style table lamp with hand-painted botanical medallions on a cream ground, raised on four gilt paw feet.
Each side of the square column base carries an oval medallion of a flowering plant, deep green foliage with clusters of pink-red blossoms, set within a fine gilt lattice and framed by gold borders and painted ribbon details. The surface has a softly [aged painted patina / gently worn finish] that gives it a lived-in, period feel.
The painted panels read well from every side, so it works as easily on a center table or a side table against a wall.
Shade not included.
