An important and exquisitely crafted clock, made of finely carved giltwood, richly decorated with remarkably delicate floral, foliate, and scrolling motifs.
The architectural form, inspired by Neo-Gothic and Neo-Rococo styles, presents a beautifully balanced composition, with superimposed sculpted registers forming a majestic and decorative whole.
The circular dial, framed by a floral relief design, is adorned with enamel numerals and accompanied by delicately crafted hands.
The upper section is surmounted by a richly carved pediment, while the wide, undulating base rests on molded feet, lending the piece a strong decorative presence.
