Believed to date to the 1960s, this beautiful piece combines the romance of antique oil lamps with the bold color and decorative glamour of mid-century interiors.

The generously proportioned upper glass shade features an intricate raised diamond pattern and a softly ruffled rim, while the matching green glass globe below repeats the same dimensional texture. A delicate brass-tone gallery encircles the shade, supported by slender metal arms, while a polished pedestal base completes the elegant silhouette.

At the center, a clear glass chimney surrounds the electric bulb, preserving the nostalgic appearance of traditional oil lighting while offering the convenience of a plug-in table lamp.

The saturated green glass is especially beautiful as it catches the light, revealing layers of color and texture throughout the quilted surface. Equally suited to a Hollywood Regency living room, an eclectic vintage interior, or a romantic bedside vignette, this is a wonderful piece of decorative lighting with unmistakable vintage presence.
The lamp retains its original-style brown electrical cord with a two-prong plug and an Underwriters Laboratories label near the socket.
