Early 19th century restauration-period green vert-de-mer marble clock with gilt bronze decoration. The clock is topped by a cupid reading in patinated bronze. The ormolu face marks the hours in roman numerals and is decorated with scrolls and foliage. The dial is signed: ledure bronzier hémon her (partially erased but legible). Signed in the back: hemon a paris. Cast by ledure and hémon clockmaker. Circa 1830 dimension: w 10.2 in x d 5.9 in x h 22 in. Dimension: l 26 cm x p 15 cm x h 56 cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
