This oversized antique Rococo Revival turtle top table, dating to approximately 1880, features a white marble top with elegant grey veining. The table's structure is crafted from finely carved walnut, showcasing intricate floral motifs and scrolling details characteristic of the Rococo Revival style. The base is supported by four cabriole legs, terminating in casters for ease of movement, and includes a lower shelf with a central turned finial. The rich, dark walnut finish complements the light marble, creating a striking contrast. The table's design embodies the opulent and decorative aesthetic prevalent in the late 19th century.
