Vintage “Time Squared” wall clock featuring the whimsical “twelveish, oneish, twoish…” dial design, attributed to Los Angeles designer Bill Miller and associated with his Bill Miller Etc. shop in the late 1970s.
The clock has a warm wood shadow-box frame, cream face, black hands, brass-tone center hub, and a Kienzle quartz movement. The face is marked “Time Squared” and “Quartz Movement.”
I installed a fresh battery about five months ago, and the clock has kept accurate time continuously since.
Very good vintage condition with light age-appropriate wear to the wood frame. The face and glass present well.
Dimensions: 10¾" H × 10¾" W × 2¾" D.
Distinctive, witty, and highly decorative — a great vintage design piece as well as a fully functional clock.
