Offered is an Oak wood umbrella and cane stand in the style of Stickley pieces from the Arts & Crafts and Mission era of the early 20th century. It features a 6 partition lattice, and the poles and joints all have the Stickley criteria and shape, but we are unable to confirm any of their burn markings and it bears no paper label or metal plaque.
There is no metal drip tray, but there is a ledge on the underside where a board or tray could be attached. And while this piece is perfect for holding umbrellas or walking sticks in an entryway, it can also be used to hold architecture draft rolls or bolts of fabric.
Each of the poles has white plastic protective furniture glides on the bottom.
Measures 28.25" tall, 14" wide, 10" deep
The partitions measure 3.5" x 3.25"

The Oak has … moreThis was found at an estate sale in overall good condition with no deep scratches or chips. The Oak has deepened in color over time and there are a few minor scuffs on corners. One of the bottom joints will separate up to 0.25", but can be pushed in by hand and does not come loose - see detailed images. There is a 1" fissure near this joint which could be the cause. This appears to be typical of the construction of Stickley pieces and is not a defect. Any wear is commensurate with its age and past usage and handling. less
