An elegant expression of traditional American clockmaking, this Howard Miller “Marston” grandfather clock pairs a richly finished oak cabinet with decorative Carpathian elm burl accents. Its sweeping broken-arch pediment and central turned finial rise above a brass moon-phase dial, creating a commanding presence in an entryway, library, or living room.
The cabinet’s Yorkshire finish brings warmth and depth to the wood grain. Brass-capped columns frame the front door, while beveled glass reveals three brass weights and an ornate lyre pendulum. Decorative fretwork on the upper side panels adds another layer of architectural detail.
The cable-driven mechanical movement offers a choice of Westminster, Whittington, and St. Michael chimes. Gold-on-gold dial detailing, raised brass Arabic numerals, and pierced hands complete the clock’s richly ornamented face.
