This elegant vintage Chinese table screen features a dark ebony (black wood) frame inset with a natural marble panel. The marble displays a striking, organic pattern of dark grey and black markings against a creamy, beige background, reminiscent of a traditional Chinese landscape painting of mountains and clouds.
The panel is adorned with vertical Chinese calligraphy and a red seal mark, adding a scholarly touch. The frame is finely carved with scrolling cloud motifs on the side supports and a shaped apron at the base.
