The artwork is executed in a palette of soft grays, greens, ivory, and black, framed by black lacquered trim. The outer corners have brass trim and there are two hangers on the back for hanging if desired. It is actually the prettiest we’ve come across.
At 36 inches high, this versatile screen works beautifully as a fireplace screen, tabletop room divider, or decorative backdrop on a console or sideboard. The reverse is finished with a coordinating floral paper, and the piece retains its original Made in China export label, dating it to the late 20th century.
Add a bit of chinoiserie charm to any setting with this screen.
