Design Plus Gallery presents a 1920s French Empire Style Bergère Armchair. This flawlessly reupholstered chair has an abundantly printed green and gold chinoiserie jacquard of florals and scrolls on a maroon silk background. The elegantly carved mahogany framing has golden gilt detailing all along the tapered legs and arm posts, lending to its regality. There is a loose seat and back cushion that are plump and inviting with of the same gorgeous material. The chair has been through careful restoration and is in good condition for its antique usage.
