The shapely case of the clock is decorated with plastic ornaments with motifs of acanthus leaves, floral garlands and rocaille elements. The central white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals is set in a gilded bezel and complemented by finely shaped hands. Below the dial is a decorative sculpture of a putto with attributes, which, together with the rich bronze ornamentation, gives the clock a distinctive decorative character. The top of the clock is topped with a small figure of a seated putto. The clock case is made in the spirit of French boulle clocks inspired by the work of André-Charles Boulle and stands on a profiled base decorated with bronze applications. The back door provides access to the mechanical clock mechanism with pendulum and bell. This clock is a decorative and representative element suitable for historical interiors, libraries, salons or on a mantelpiece. The clock is complete, the mechanism needs cleaning and lubrication - the clock stops occasionally.
