Crafted by the renowned Massachusetts manufacturer famed for their high-quality colonial reproductions, the chair features a high, dramatically rounded hoop-back silhouette fitted with slender vertical spindles that offer sturdy yet breathable back support. Below, a continuous arm rail sweeps forward to wrap around the deep, ergonomically carved saddle seat, supported by a series of shorter spindles and anchored by chunky, turned baluster front posts. The lower base features stout, spindle-turned legs joined by a robust H-stretcher assembly for structural reinforcement, all securely mounted onto long, smooth-gliding solid oak rocking runners. This timeless piece beautifully captures both the rustic warmth of traditional American colonial design and the exceptional heritage craftsmanship characteristic of the Nichols & Stone brand.
