It features an exuberant carved and gilded wooden case, inspired by Rococo, profusely decorated with roses, flowers, leaves, vegetal scrolls, and asymmetrical shell motifs. The composition is topped by a large floral branch, extending below into an openwork structure that allows the pendulum to be seen. Circular cream-colored dial, signed “WESTERSTRAND – TÖREBODA”, with Roman numerals for the hours, an external minute scale in Arabic numerals, and elegant scalloped hands. Front door with convex glass and articulated metal bezel. Mechanical wind-up movement, also marked Westerstrands and “Made in Sweden”, equipped with two independent systems for running and striking. It has a pendulum, bell, and its key. The mechanism should strike the hours and half-hours when functioning. Shows natural signs of age and use.
