The two-bladed propeller features beautifully shaped aerodynamic blades with reinforced metal edges and visible rivet detailing, together with a substantial central hub.
The warm honey-brown wood displays a natural patina, with variations in colour and surface wear that enhance its authentic historical character. Its monumental proportions make it both an important piece of Italian aviation history and a highly decorative sculptural object.
The propeller measures approximately 270 cm in length, with a maximum diameter of 45 cm and a depth of 27 cm. It is currently presented on a custom display stand, bringing the total height to approximately 323 cm.
The propeller can also be displayed independently from the stand, either mounted directly on a wall or suspended from the ceiling, offering considerable flexibility for large residential, commercial or collector interiors.
A rare and imposing original Caproni aviation component, combining historical interest, exceptional scale and strong industrial-design appeal. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
