Masterful woodwork in the carved floral designs of the back, with its openwork and scrolled forms. Curved arms transition into cabriole legs at the front. The back legs have a subtly splayed shape. Overall the wood has a dark brown finish that accentuates the inviting, warm qualities of the original design.
