Carved from richly toned wood, the shallow basin retains visible grain, tool marks and warm variations in the aged finish, while the sculptural stem and stepped circular foot give the piece a beautiful architectural profile. Its generous 18.5-inch width makes it especially well suited as a dining table, console or kitchen island centerpiece. The naturally worn surface and deep brown patina add considerable character.
