Design Plus Gallery presents a Vladimir Kagan Style Mid-Century Modern Floating Curved Sofa. This sculptural sofa showcases a sweeping crescent-shaped profile inspired by iconic mid-century modern design. The upholstered seat follows a fluid, asymmetrical curve, while the floating backrest echoes the same continuous form. Sculpted walnut supports rise along the exterior of the frame and connects visually with the tapered legs below, creating an expressive architectural structure. The neutral woven upholstery allows the curved form and walnut framework to remain the focal point of the design. The sofa reflects the organic modern influence associated with Vladimir Kagan’s celebrated seating designs, combining biomorphic lines, low proportions, and exposed wood detailing. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. Made in the USA.
