Years of use have worn the dark surface to warm cognac tones along the edges and raised areas, creating a beautifully nuanced patina and depth of color. A handsome piece of antique luggage with strong decorative presence, ideal for a study, library, or dressing room, displayed on a luggage rack, beneath a console, or atop an armoire. The generous interior also provides useful storage for textiles, papers, and other personal pieces. See less
