Hand-crafted in the first half of the century, this attractive chair has a hooped back with a wonderful, pierced wheel in the central splat. The wheel is flanked on either side by three spindles. A molded seat, made of a single plank, is enclosed by gently curved arms, supported on elegantly turned legs and stretchers. Across the surface of this chair, we see stunning woodgrains met with a nice patina, reminding us of how much it has been used and loved over time. Gently cleaned and tightened with a French paste wax, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
