The tall metal basket has two handles and rolls on large caster wheels for easy movement. The bottom is made of wooden slats that have been slowly patinated over time as it has been used. Carts of this height allowed many long baguettes to be transported vertically without the risk of breaking any of the loaves. A charmingly curious antique that could be up-cycled for any number of purposes including laundry or firewood. Gently cleaned and tightened, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
