Begay used blue opal and jet inlay set in Sterling Silver to create this Dancing Horn Player Pendant. This is a channel inlay piece from the Late 20th Century that features a contemporary figure in a bent-over position playing a long horn. The figure depicts a pose that is common with musicians performing on stage. It’s beautifully executed with Jet inlay on both the long garment and on the pendant ring at the top that allows it to be hung from a necklace chain. Begay has contrasted the black Jet with a Blue Opal inlayed design on the garment. The pendant is stunning.
