19th century oak tall carved bookcase from England.
At the top, there is a stately crown molding with carving as well for added richness. This follows down to simple sides and hand carved decoration on both sides of the opening. There are three upper shelves, all movable for differing sizes of books or decor.
This upper case sits on a lower bookcase, which also features a carved and beveled crown over simple sides and hand carved decoration around the opening of the bookcase. There is a single moveable shelf on the bottom as well. The bottom of the case has a molded and carved edge and it is raised on molded feet.
