A stunning, structurally solid matching pair of antique solid wood chairs dating from the late Victorian to early Edwardian era (approx. 1890s–1910s).
A stylized floral and tulip motif is carved into the crest rail using a burl wood veneer, blending elements of the Art Nouveau or late French provincial rustic styles. Additional features include graceful curved arms, and classic turned spindle accents. The round seats feature hand-pressed caning. Unaltered original condition with age related imperfections adding to the warmth and character.
