Molded in a highly dramatic, flared foliate silhouette, each vase features a central white porcelain reservoir meticulously hand-painted with unique, vibrant multi-colored floral bouquets. The surrounding structure is heavily stylized with sculpted acanthus leaves glazed in a brilliant cobalt blue and rich leaf green, all brought to life by heavy, ornate gold-gilt accenting along the rims, veins, and scrolling handles. The reverse side features simple hand-brushed gold gilt flourishes on the white ground, and the un-marked bases feature authentic, unglazed foot rings characteristic of period French porcelain. Capturing classic 19th-century elegance, this beautiful matching set makes a breathtaking display statement for any fine antique collector.
