We are selling this large 19th century carved Wood bowl. This bowl has large dimensions and honest wear with a blacksmith made iron band around the rim. The bowl has four holes to the base which may have been for legs. We believe this primitive piece may have been used in a bakery for dough making or another commercial use. The bowl appears to be 19th or early 20th century, it looks like Elm so may be American or Asian in origin.
Condition: Large old splits to the wood. Missing legs and iron repair.
