Striking decorative Chinese ginger jar featuring a soft celadon green ground with an intricate multicolor design in pink, lavender, peach, cream, and blue. The pattern combines stylized floral, wave, leaf, and geometric motifs in a wonderfully graphic composition with an almost Art Deco-inspired quality.
The rounded jar has a fitted lid topped with a matching celadon finial, while the decorative pattern continues across the lid and shoulder. The unusual pastel palette and bold graphic design make this a particularly versatile statement piece for a console, credenza, bookshelf, étagère, or tabletop.
