Each bowl is decorated inside and out with deep indigo and cobalt-blue floral medallions, scrolling vines, stylized foliage, and ornamental borders against a warm ivory-cream ground. The repeating chrysanthemum-like blossoms and freely painted botanical details give the pattern wonderful movement.

The bowls have an appealing vintage-like appearance, with a softly aged ivory-toned glaze and subtle variations in the surface and decoration. The underside continues the blue ornamental detailing and bears the “Bat Trang Vietnam” maker's mark.

At approximately 4.75" diameter x 2.25" high, they are ideal for rice, noodles, soup, cereal, fruit, yogurt, desserts, side dishes, condiments, or small individual servings. They also mix beautifully with other blue-and-white tableware for a collected, layered tablescape.
