Executed at rud rasmussen, copenhagen. The richly patinated reddish-brown leather, aged to a deep lustrous tone, is beautifully complemented by the warm oak frame and original brass nail detailing. A particularly scarce early example, distinguished by its original, untouched niger leather and elegant proportions. A fine representation of klint’s pioneering approach to danish modernism, combining classical references, exceptional craftsmanship, and honest materials. Marked from spring 1937.
