Each plate is decorated with individually rendered dragonflies in deep charcoal and blue-black tones, their fine linear wings and elongated bodies creating a graceful, almost calligraphic pattern across the surface. The softly variegated glaze shifts from creamy ivory through muted celadon green, particularly toward the edges.

The reverse is especially beautiful, finished in a rich jade/celadon green glaze with an impressed floral and scrolling border. Each plate bears the “Bat Trang Vietnam” maker's mark.

At 7 inches in diameter, they are an ideal size for dessert, appetizers, bread, fruit, tapas, or small salads and mix beautifully with blue-and-white, celadon, and other collected Asian tableware.
