Each plate features an intricate radiating floral medallion design, surrounded by scrolling botanical forms and a decorative border. The pattern has the character of traditional Vietnamese blue-and-white ceramics, with subtle differences in the brushwork and glaze giving each plate an individual, artisan-made quality.

The reverse is equally charming, with additional freehand blue decorative motifs surrounding the foot of each plate. Each piece is marked “Bat Trang Vietnam” on the underside.

At 7 inches in diameter, these plates are a versatile size for desserts, appetizers, bread, fruit, small salads, or tapas. Their timeless blue-and-white palette also makes them especially easy to mix with other Bat Trang pottery and collected vintage dinnerware.
