A rare and useful triangular Italian side table with stylish wavy wrought iron legs. Abstract & colourful enamel work design on a white ceramic triangular tile set in a black iron framework. Designed by Staropoli and 'signed' as such.
This is a Vintage piece typical of the Memphis design movement of the 1980s and 1990s.
A good sized table at 17", stable and this is a particuarily nice eye-catching example.

The Memphis design movement was a radical maximalist postmodern design and architecture group founded in Milan in the 1980s by an Italian designer called Sottsass - features bold, impactful, colourful and abstract designs. David Bowie was an avid collector of such.
