An elegant silverplated picture frame embellished with raised flowers, curling stems, and flowing foliage. Its gently bowed sides, rounded corners, and scalloped crest echo the organic lines of Art Nouveau, while the reflective silver finish beautifully highlights the botanical relief for 3"x5" of 4"x6" Image
The floral ornament recalls the decorative silver frames of makers such as Towle, making it a lovely companion to traditional silver accessories. Its romantic character also complements French country and shabby chic interiors associated with Rachel Ashwell, as well as the layered, collected rooms of Charlotte Moss.
A charming setting for a favorite portrait, small botanical print, or treasured keepsake, this frame adds a luminous accent to a bedside table, dressing table, mantel, or bookshelf. The reverse is covered in dark blue velvet and fitted with an easel support and hanging hardware.
