1950s Lacquered Goat Skin Bar Cart by Aldo Tura, Italy
This incredible cart by Aldo Tura has a warmth and depth of color that is remarkable. Each one is as unique as the leather skin that sheaths it. The incredible gloss makes it a lovely wipeable, lacquered surface for your drinks.
The metal casters roll easily, so you can take this from room to room. The brass frame is sound.
Thick tubular supports below slide out to make the extendable leaves stable enough to support your fine barware.
Has original "TURA" label on underside.
This bar cart is in very good vintage condition from a sole owner who cared for it quite well. The lacquered surface has minimal wear, with only light surface scratches, slight wear to edges and some gold loss to the metal. The surface is smooth and glossy. The spots seen in photos are the variable coloring of the lacquered goatskin, and light reflecting off the super glossy sheen.
