Mid-20th-century advertising wall clock manufactured by Benrus Watch Co. of New York for Gaines Food Co. of Sherburne, New York. The upper clock face features bold red numerals surrounding Benrus branding, while the lower lithographed advertising panel promotes Gaines Dog Foods with a colorful illustration of a dog alongside the slogan "Nourish Every Inch of Your Dog." The printed panels are housed within a substantial galvanized metal case with a molded metal front surround and glass face. Bright red, yellow, cream, and green graphics retain strong visual impact, making the clock a distinctive example of mid-century American pet food and point-of-sale advertising.
