Uniquely charming Victorian Gothic Revival-style three-tier ètagère resting on ring turned legs and handcrafted from what we believe to be either mahogany wood or more likely, rosewood because of its oily finish. Many exotic woods such Ipe, Teak, Purpleheart, Bubinga, Santos Mahogany or any species of Rosewood are considered oily wood species. Richly decorated on each side with vine and foliate motif hand carved panels. Ring turned spool-shaped spindles throughout top vase-and-ring turned columns; hand carved spandrels on each side of the top shelf and a fretwork-style top rail provide the Victorian Gothic Revival look-and-feel. At the very bottom is a well-made, single compact drawer with rabbet joinery. In excellent condition with age-appropriate wear; unknown maker. This beauty weighs approximately 50 lbs. and measures as follows:

Height: 43¾” high (which includes 4½” high spindles)
Width/depth: 25½” x 16”
Top shelf: 22¾” x 10” W/D; distance from top shelf to middle shelf 11½”
Middle shelf: 21½” x 9¾” W/D; distance from middle shelf to lower shelf 10”
Lower shelf: 21” x 14½”
Drawer: 10¾” x 9¼” x 3½” W/D/H
