Vintage Studio Pottery Massive Ceramic Bowl by Masuo Ojima
Striking vintage studio pottery bowl by Japanese-American artist Masuo Ojima (b. 1949), signed on the bottom.
This substantial, sculptural bowl features a deep dark green glazed interior and a mustard/golden-yellow exterior with black geometric accents. The exterior has a beautifully textured, horizontally ridged surface, giving the piece a strong handmade studio-pottery character. The raised black elements continue around the bowl and add an interesting dimensional quality.
A bold statement piece that would work beautifully as a centerpiece, decorative bowl, or sculptural display.
