Santa Fe, New Mexico has a long history as a center for arts and multiculturalism. It has been designated as a UNESCO Creative City in crafts and folk art since 2005. This fabulous set of five hand-painted Southwestern-inspired gourd hanging ornaments were created by artist Sandy Short. Note, the turquoise-colored raku-style bowl is included. Sandy has been handcrafting these beautiful one-of-a-kind hand-painted gourds since the 1990s. Each ornament is signed and copyrighted. Because each ornament is crafted from an individual gourd, sizes vary but all five pretty much measure about 3” x 3” x 3” W/D/H (height includes the attached metal hanging ring). The raku-style bowl measures 8¼” x 8¼” x 3” W/D/H; interior 7” x 7” x 2” W/D/H. The set of five ornaments weigh 5 oz, while the raku-style bowl weighs 2 lbs. 13 oz. The ornaments and bowl are in excellent pre-owned condition with minimal, if any wear.

A charming addition to complement any eclectic holiday décor collection or the perfect gift for a collector of whimsical one-of-a-kind ornaments!
