A handsome Victorian English oak fitted case with beautifully flecked quarter-sawn grain on the lid. The interior is lined in vivid royal blue baize with custom compartments, originally designed to protect glass decanters and bottles. It features brass butt hinges and a brass lock plate stamped "T. Turner & Co., London," a maker whose locks appear on other quality Victorian cases.
Use it as a bar accessory or as desk, entryway, or coffee table storage for barware, games, tools, or keepsakes. The compartments also make it a great display piece.
Note: Compartments are built-in and do not lift out. They could be removed but this would likely damage them.
