The slender turned pedestal descends gracefully beneath, punctuated by two decorative gilt rings that break up the black column and echo the metallic accent at the rim above. A bulbous, urn-shaped turning sits at the midpoint of the stem, adding classical proportion before the column narrows again and flares into a tripod base. Three gracefully curved cabriole-style legs splay outward from the base, each terminating in a small gilt ball foot, lending both stability and a delicate, jewelry-like finishing touch. The black painted finish carries a desirable, softly worn patina throughout, with light surface scuffing on the legs and gentle wear along the tabletop edges that speaks to genuine, gentle use over time. The gold banding remains bright and legible against the black ground, preserving the table's sophisticated visual contrast, and the piece remains structurally sound and stable.

Place this table beside an accent chair, sofa, or bed, using it as a lamp table or decorative display surface for small objects. It complements Hollywood Regency, Traditional, Neoclassical, Chinoiserie, and Eclectic interiors. To care for it, dust with a soft dry cloth, avoid harsh cleaners that could strip the gilt accents, and use coasters to protect the lacquered top from moisture and heat. Measurements: 16.25 inches wide, 12.75 inches deep, and 25 inches high. Condition is very good, with an original painted finish and minor age-appropriate patina.
