The Rose and Daisy pattern that emerged from that process has been in continuous production ever since. Over a century later it remains one of the most recognized and collected designs in American porcelain history and for good reason. The combination of the gold ground and the etched rose and daisy motifs creates a surface that catches light with extraordinary warmth, shifting from bright to deep depending on the angle.

This is Shape 722, an 11-inch round serving tray or platter with two open handles in the classic Pickard serving style. Marked on the base: Pickard China, Made in USA, Hand Decorated, Number 722. The hand decorated designation matters, this is not a transfer or a mechanical process. Someone applied this finish by hand.

Very good condition with minor wear to the gold finish consistent with age and careful use. No chips, no cracks. The Rose and Daisy pattern is vivid and present throughout.
