Showcasing a classic federal meets country aesthetic, each chair features are rich black lacquer finish adorned with traditional hand painted stenciling. The top crest rail displays of vibrant harvest motif of stencil, gold fruits, sunshine, accented by delicate ocher pinstriping, and turned accents on the stretchers and legs. Perfect as elegant, dining and chairs, entryway accents, or bedroom vanity seating. This is a set of two chairs with a bit of asymmetrical wear. The pair is an excellent overall condition but one chair shows a little bit more wear on its seat, though it is structurally sound. Typical weathering to the natural rush seat fibers from standard use. The hand woven rush remains entirely tight, flat, and structurally sound on both sides. The painted finish and gold stenciling remain exceptionally bright and clean across the pair. Classic American or traditional Federal style. See less
