Certainly pieces collected with fond remembrance of a lovely visit to "The City of Light".

One bears the image of the Cathedral of Notre Dame; the other Sacré-Cœur (formally named "The Basilica of the Sacred Heart") in Montmartre.

Perfect to display as-shown in any small area - over a bedside table? in a powder room? combined with other collectibles? Ready to hang from integral hardware on the back.

Our research into the marks en verso suggest the following. The cobalt blue piece was is by the Limoges house of Jean Feuillade, a hand painted porcelain fabricator. Often these pieces are adorned by 22k or 24k gold decoration; we're assuming the same of this one but have not had the gold finish tested. The other example is by an unknown fabricator, also based in Limoges. Both are accompanied by a gold tone hanger for easy display. Based on this data, we believe these to be 50+ year old tourist souvenir items from the 1960s-1970s.

Dimensions: 2.5" diameter.

Condition: The cobalt piece is in excellent semi-antique condition with vibrant coloration, no chips, no cracks, and minimal wear to either glaze or gilt. The other also shows vibrant hues with no cracks, no crazing, but has a chip at the (approx.) 1 o'clock position, as shown. Despite this, displays nicely.
