Hand-carved from wood, the piece retains its original polychrome finish, layered with weathered pigment and gilt detail that speaks to its temple and processional origins. Richly carved trappings, including a beaded bridle, ornamented harness, and saddle cloth, lend texture and old-world character, while the mounted stand allows it to be displayed as a striking freestanding sculptural statement. At 60" high and 66" wide, this piece makes a commanding focal point for a foyer, gallery wall, or design scheme grounded in global antiques and collected curiosities. See less
